The Opportunity Responsibilities Design, implement and test real-time L1 Baseband software for 5G-NR, LTE-A, O-RAN nodes on ARM CPU Cores and DSP cores Optimize L1 SW for performance, memory utilization on real-time embedded DSP platform and ensure that design meets performance requirements.

Work with Systems and Test teams to take SW through unit tests and system tests using signal generators, test vectors and vector signal analyzers.

Work with Systems team to design system level L1 SW tests for modem and SoC characterization Work with customers for feature requirements, enhancements and for R&D support Technical Requirements Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related fields and 8+ years of related professional experience.

8+ years of experience in developing L1 SW for Mobile Wireless Standards such as 5GNR, LTE, WiMAX, WCDMA / HSPA+. Prior experience with DSP L1 SW implementation for 5G-NR or LTE is a strong plus.

Must have experience with various aspects of L1 SW delivery : Real-time implementation, debugging, system test, validation and SW qualification.

Must have experience in SW partitioning, algorithm benchmarking, optimization for DSP and CPU processing. Prior experience on modem control SW design on MIPS or ARM CPU is a strong plus.

Strong expertise in C++ / C / Assembly, Real-time OS and embedded programming concepts : SW task scheduler, Multi-threaded system, Memory management.

Strong expertise in Linux, Fast path (DPDK / ODP) is highly desirable Comprehensive understanding of 3GPP Wireless Standards such as 5G NR, LTE, WCDMA / HSPA+ and advanced system features is strongly desired.

Experience with test equipment such as Signal Generators, VSA, Logic Analyzers is a plus. Sound background in Communications Theory and Signal Processing is required.

Other Requirements Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must have effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
