PRIMARY ROLE &RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze, design, implement, debug, unit test and deliver featuresfor a distributed contact centersystem.
Prototype new solutions and evaluate technicalfeasibility.
Overcome complex technical challenges demonstrating technicalflexibility and creativity in problemsolving.
Lead and participate in design reviews with cross-functional teammembers to better understandrequirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer problems escalated toengineering.
Participate in on-call for customer escalations on a rotationalbasis.
Provide estimates and timelines for the development of featuressets and deliveringfixes.
Close interaction with other Development, Architecture, and QA teammembers as well as Customer Support and Professional Services teamsacross theglobe.
Lead and conduct hands-on testing with other team members asnecessary to complete featuresets.
Ability to communicate complex technical information to internalaudiences.
REQUIREDEXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Four-yeardegree in technical or engineering field (B.S. in Computer Science,Electronics, Mathematics or related disciplineminimum).
Minimum of 6 years softwaredevelopment experience is required
Minimum of 2years working on public Cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GoogleCloud
Thorough experience in object-orientedprogramming and design patterns using Java / C#
Experience developing at least one majorproject from design to completion.
Passion forcloud computing and experience building SaaS products forauto-scaling, performance, and faulttolerance.
PREFERREDEXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Experiencein high volume transactions in distributedsystems
Cloud application API design andimplementation such as RESTful / JSONAPIs
Experience with ContinuousIntegration / Continuous Deployment bestpractices
Experience with containerorchestration environments such asKubernetes
Experience working in an Agile / Scrumenvironment
Git / ClearCase sourcecontrol
Jira for Agile projectmanagement
