As our Design & Application personnel, you are responsible for creating new mechanical designs as well as modifying and improving existing designs with little or no supervision.

Furthermore, we’re looking for an individual with excellent team player spirit to support both the team and the business in their strategy through initiatives to achieve, First Time Right & On Time Delivery among other high expectations that are required by today’s market place to win new repeatable business whilst maintaining existing customer base with first class experience.

Key Accountabilities :

You will play an important role in :

  • Preparing the drawings of Proposal & Post Order Requirement.Proposal Drawings - Preliminary GA drawing, ducting layouts, preparing of axillary item specification, Pressure drop calculation, Ducting weight calculation, visit customer site for taking measurement whenever required.
  • Post Order - Preparing GA drawing, approving supplier drawing auxiliary items, preparing dust collector fabrication drawing, BOM, Getting approval from customer.

  • Designing / Detailing of IAF equipment and site layout drawing.
  • Approving supplier drawing and specification and submission of drawing to customers.
  • Understanding the selection of dust collector for appropriate application.
  • Ensure effective communication with customer, supplier and sales team for new design.
  • Technical Competencies :

  • Knowledge of and / or experience in electrical, mathematical, and mechanical functions relating to air filtration / air pollution control equipment preferred.
  • Knowledge of and / or P&ID, Fabrication drawings, Layout drawing, Structural design, Ducting design and Routing and detail engineering documents.
  • Proficient with CAD software such as AutoCAD, NX and SolidWorks Design Tools will be a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written formats. Proven ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of the many diversified manufacturing processes and issues related to air pollution control in those processes will be a plus
  • Minimum Competencies :

  • At least 5 years of experience
  • BE Mechanical
  • Possess self-directed ability to multi-task and prioritize customer needs
  • Self-motivated, good sense of initiative, willing to learn, solution-oriented, able to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Able to work under pressure and under minimal supervision.
  • Others (% of travel, language, etc.) :

  • Customer Site Visit - 10%
  • Excellent English communication skill.
