  • Interact with customers of IT to understand customer requirements, Align IT Tools / Applications and Support Systems for domains- (Portals, Enterprise, Fulfillment and Delivery, Billing), define and help adopt organization wide guidelines in these domains;
  • Develop and execute an architecture roadmap to support the customer requirements through specific details such as gap analysis, enhancements, buy vs.

  • build decisions etc. Based upon business needs, best practices, market trends, drive the requirements analysis and system engineering study with key IT customers (Product, Order Management, Provisioning, Billing, SA teams) and BE team to scope business needs and requirements;
  • Share inputs to perform requirements rationalization and feature validation; Provide inputs on development of User Business Requirements along with the user.

    Guide the selection of vendors for implementation in case of new projects / major change requirements. Create the HLD definition (solutions approach).

    Discuss HLD with Delivery and review with users; Share inputs to finalize solution approach. Work on preparing the techno-commercial content of the Statement of Work for strategic projects with Supply Chain team.

    Develop End-to-End Scenarios (E2E) for User Acceptance Testing (UAT); Guide the solution delivery for strategic projects such as migration through entire SDLC cycle from UBR completion to deployment - (development of high level, low level, detailed design, manage the development process, unit testing, system testing, integration testing, UAT, documentation, training, data model documents etc.

    Guide the delivery team on user documentation and drive training and knowledge transfer. Support customer organization through change impacts.

    Participate in New Product Initiation activity to identify and merge tools capabilities into product releases.

    Broad outline of the Role

    Contribute as an individual contributor for deployment of architectural roadmap. Conduct the requirements analysis and system engineering study with key IT customers.

  • Share inputs with supervisor related to rquirements and feature validations. Work independently with user to develop and test End-to-End Scenarios (E2E) during User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
  • Resolve queries. Able to independently resolve complex projects, issues, challenges encountered. Operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the job area and may also impact a wider operational area.

    Capable of instructing professional or technical staff and reviewing the quality of the work undertaken by these roles.May lead / manage small teams for small projects.

    Capable of identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision.

    Demonstrate a level of flexibility in resolving problems / issues that at least to in-depth command of all techniques, processes, tools and standards, within the relevant field of specialisation.

    Able to identify problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques. Education : BTech or Diploma Experience : 5-10 years with some experience in IT solutions

    Purpose - Broad objective of the role

    The Operations Support Manager will be responsible for delivering high quality Level 3 support TCL operations to meet our global customers- Service Level Agreements and operational requirements.

    The successful candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, organized, have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and should able to work independently with cross functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.

    Additionally, the applicant should have a pro-active mindset, continually trying to determine preventative measures, excellent knowledge of the customers solutions.

  • Overall 10-12 Yrs of experience, candidates with 4-5 years of hands on experience in development on latest technologies & good understanding of a wide variety of technologies : Languages - Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring, Node.

  • L2C, O2C, T2R - Good understanding of OSS BSS Concepts.

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating Information and Systems (IT) solutions (HLA), and stage 0 costs, to meet business requirements, in line with Cluster and Group IT Strategies and Architectures.
  • Work with supply chain (including external) as appropriate.

  • Working with the relevant Project Manager, Lead System & Technology Partner, responsible for ensuring that the outcomes delivered by projects are consistent with the original solution specified.
  • This will be achieved by reviewing project design artefacts (e.g. Stage 1) and the impact of significant change requests.

  • Adding clarity to business requirements; challenges business requirements and demands to ensure high quality candidate solutions are created.
  • Reviewing & technical vetting the LLD in line with HLA with system leads or technology partner the LLD.
  • Identifying common or duplicative needs across SBU.
  • Thinks outside of the box to support the business in delivering its strategic objectives rather than just responding to a pre-defined request.
  • In case required for solutioning interface with infra teams for hardware sizing, network issues, security approvals and DB issues for resolution.
  • Takes responsibility for ensuring that solutions adhere to architectural and quality standards and policies.
  • Able to rationalise between different solution options and define pros and cons based on a driving forces from a commercial, operational and technology viewpoint.
  • Provide functional & technical direction to the developer colleagues to implement secured software solutions, both for backend and frontend using modern languages and technologies.
  • Technical Competencies

  • Working with the relevant Lead Solutions Designer and CTO, supports the creation of an appropriate IT Strategy for the relevant business area.
  • Provide consultancy as required to the business on technical matters related to RFCs & share high level solution.
  • Supports the Systems Planning process to ensure interdependencies are understood and that the proposed plan is viable.
  • Maintains knowledge of relevant technical specialism(s) at the highest level, by reading relevant literature, attending conferences and seminars, meeting and maintaining contact with other leading practitioners of the technical specialism and though playing a major role in appropriate learned, professional and trade bodies.
  • Build relationship with manufacturers, supply channels and SI partners.

  • Also maintains knowledge of wider industry regulations, standards and trends.
  • Keeps in close touch with, and contributes to current developments in the relevant technical specialism(s) within Technology, own industry and outside.
