Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will counsel our India devices businesses on a broad range of commercial, local compliance, licensing, technology and regulatory matters in connection with development, sale and distribution of Amazon devices (Fire TV, Echo, Kindle).

You will provide day-to-day advice to the business on a wide range of issues including product development, technology / innovation, and post-launch product safety matters.

You will support our business development and marketing teams in structuring promotions and B2B initiatives and drafting / negotiating complex deals.

You will work directly with the business and counsel them on strategic initiatives, helping evaluate and launch new and innovative products.

The role would also require counseling business on relevant legal and regulatory developments.

The position will be based in Bangalore. Some travel may be required.

This role is part of the legal team that supports Amazon's devices and digital media businesses in India.
