Job Description
Supports Svc / Sol Operations Manager in all occurring technical topics. Operates all IT services, systems and applications and to monitor events that occur in the enterprise IT environment.
Ensures that Configuration Items (any component that needs to be managed in order to deliver an IT Service) are identified, accounted, reported, verified and audited.
Supporting activities are related with all management processes relevant to IHS including, but not limited to, configuration management, asset management, license management, capacity management, reporting, documentation management, records management, access management, compliance management, training management and knowledge management.
Deliver IT services, systems and applications to the business
Ensure adherence to quality standards as defined by the IT Organization
Ensure appropriate response to audit / ISRM assessment findings and recommendations
Define an end-to-end provisioning process facilitating automation wherever possible
Perform patch management and image management activities
Ensure standard build / image - Ensure accurate provisioning and metering of services
Provide early feedback to development team on release issues
Ensure that an up-to-date asset inventory for all technology assets is maintained and only authorized components are used
Accountable to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Technical Operations service scope
Coordinate all configuration management database changes which directly or indirectly impact production services
Ensure addition, modification or removal of any IT asset in a standard and controlled manner
Ensure that CIs are identified, accounted, reported, verified and audited
Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Service Operations scope Additional accountabilities (optional)
Manage service data across platforms Sharepoint, SNOW and others as required
Identify new critical configuration management relevant data elements and metadata
Drive periodic documentation assessments and reviews
CI data remediation, CI quality and audit reviews
Create new automations for existing management processes and reports - Support onboarding / off boarding activities
Support training management activities including periodic reviews
Minimum requirements
Engineering Graduate or equivalent degree
ITIL Certified Business fluent in English (Written and Spoken)
Minimum 10 years of experience in service management and operations support activities
Minimum 5 years of experience with SNOW
Highly proficient with data and data analysis including manipulating data in Excel and other tools and advanced queries
Advanced knowledge of Sharepoint
Technical acumen on all the layers under integrated hosting services : cloud, virtualization, OS, database, storage, backup and middleware services
Experience of working in a GxP / SOX qualified environment
Experience of working with cross-functional and global teams including off-shore teams
