Your Opportunity

You will be responsible for testing the digitalised experience, innovative products in Sam’s Club. The role is of a Software quality engineer who is motivated to actively contribute to the testing a new features of feature sets.

The role is expected to work independently and create test cases, maintaining automated test pipeline through CI / CD which meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.

As a part of the Sam’s Club at Walmart Global Tech organisation in India your contribution is going to have a significant impact on the day-to-day running of Walmart.

You will be challenged with unparalleled complex business problems involving wide business functions, a large numbers of users, and data.

Position Responsibilities

Applies various testing types and methodologies effectively during the Agile Process.

Applies automation for the test scenarios with at least one of these languages / Tool, Python / UFT / Java-Selenium.

Having the awareness to one / many tests automation frameworks

Demonstrates increasing expertise in application domain and functional areas.

Taking ownership of tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary.

Applies principles of methodologies like Lean / Agile, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.

Experience and expertise in developing test strategies, test plans and test cases

Writes effective tests according to best practices so that crucial functional requirements are verified and tests remain valid when code is refactored.

Collaborates with development team in bugs fixing and build plans.

Implements system-level integration testing and performance testing.

Skilled in core data structures and algorithms

Position Requirements

B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in Computer Science

3+ years of experience in software quality assurance engineering experience for highly -scalable applications and platform development in product based companies or R&D divisions.

Knowledge of quality engineering methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools

Expert in either one of scripting language OR tools : Python / Java-Selenium Automation Testing - REST API, Web applications in micro-services architecture and distributed cloud systems with 1+ years’ experience.

Expert in creating and maintaining standard automation frameworks Working knowledge of CI / CD to support continuous automation and deployment process

Experience driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements and testing

Expert in developing test strategies, test environment setup, test data setup, test plans and test cases

Proficient in Black box testing with in depth knowledge of Integration, System, Smoke and Sanity testing.

Preferably has experience in performance testing with tools like LoadRunner, Jmeter.

Experience working within an Agile / Scrum environment.

Should have experience into Validating / Qualifying Products / Jmeter

Experience working in Linux / Unix and Android / iOS environments.

Expert in communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings
