About the Role :

Position summary & Main tasks / activities (short and precise definition of the role and most important activities listed)

  • Responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing Quality Assurance testing activities during all phases of the SDLC for assigned project streams within L&H IT.
  • Additionally, the Test Lead is responsible for the design, creation, and implementation of the L&H IT testing best practices that includes both functional and non-functional testing.

  • Primary Responsibility include :
  • Development of Test strategy, test plan design, execution and test automation
  • Collaborating with application development and production support team and represent testing service
  • Should perform impact and gap analysis;
  • Coordination of test resources, status reporting to all stake holders, Pro-active Risk identification and Mitigation, defect tracking and defect triage activities.
  • Help L&H Team Lead with the oversight of L&H applications quality assurance activities such as system functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, End-to-End testing and automation.
  • The role is also responsible for providing support for user acceptance testing and business signoff
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Performance Testing using Load Runner or JMeter I,e Design, Develop and execute performance testcases and scripts through analysis of product specifications or software requirements
  • Experience with scripting and testing using multiple protocols

The vision of L&H IT Testing services is to strengthen the Operational Efficiency where value can be measured from the end customer standpoint, Optimize QA coverage with the focus on improving end-to-end (E2E) quality and Transition to a Predictive Quality Model with Reduced Cost and Faster time to Market.

    About you :

  • Continually improve Quality Assurance Testing processes, policies, standards and best practices across all testing phases (Unit, System, Regression, User Acceptance)
  • Good to have experience in managing security testing
  • Hands on Experience in managing various Functional and non-functional test automation tools
  • Understanding of Agile principles.
  • Champion an environment and culture that the quality management principle is a comprehensive and fundamental belief, for leading and operating an efficient and effective organization.
  • Agile methodologies and DevOps knowledge
  • Ensure organizational Quality Management (Quality Control, Assurance and Improvement)
  • Defines and / or consults to ensure quality standards, procedures and processes are being followed in the development of new or modified applications / systems across multiple computing environments (e.
  • g., distributed, client server, web based)

  • Collaborates with IT and business partners to support quality across the full systems development life cycle
  • Coordination of testing requirements across all principal stakeholders
  • Plan, design, script, and execute performance tests for software across L&H IT
  • Manage and ensure all test environments and test data effectively meet and support Test Strategies and organizational requirements.
  • Support quality assurance reviews and approvals when necessary.
  • Ensure QA Best Practices are maintained and support the gating and Release processes.
  • Risk management and release reporting activities.
  • Develops and implements Quality Control Metrics in support of continuous delivery improvement.
  • Leads and drives organizational Quality Testing initiatives.
  • Support auditors during audit inquiries and provide reporting and evidence for testing results.
  • Raise and track found defects in tracking tools.
  • Suggest changes for enhancement to the tools, workflow, process and reporting.
  • Process change requests for enhancements and bug fixes in bug tracking / configuration management tool (SNOW).
  • Provide test estimates and testing timeline for all test events.
  • Hands on testing for data security per request.
