Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for systems considering such things as information flow, configuration setup for systems, volume, ad hoc reporting, analysis and document format.
Drafts and documents processes and formal development procedures. Leads, facilitates, and coordinates projects, testing, training, change management and system patch or upgrade analysis.
Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments. Partners with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, execution of user acceptance and may coordinate and perform testing, and system techniques and controls.
Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and workflow. Ensures a complete understanding of business needs and objectives, and proactively proposes IT solutions for the business unit.
