Dell EMC Managed Services span infrastructure, engineered solutions, and end users.

Infrastructure services : refers to primary storage, backup, and data protection technologies such as DR solutions. With a heritage grounded in industry-

leading EMC, our experts are subject matter experts on EMC VMAX, VNX, Unity, SRDF, RecoverPoint, Avamar, Data Domain, and more, including other infrastructure vendors’ technologies.

Infrastructure services :

Engineered Solutions : encompasses our expertise in cloud solutions comprised of different best-of-breed products from Dell Technologies businesses such as Virtustream, VMware, and Pivotal.

These cloud platforms include Dell EMC Converged Infrastructure, Hybrid Cloud and Native Hybrid Cloud with VMware and Pivotal.

End User services includes Service Desk, Field Support, Asset Management, and SW Management and Delivery

Role and Responsibilities :

  • Clearly understand the request and provide a solution from personal knowledge assisted by local tools, product documentation and escalation to subject matter experts within the priority level chosen by the requester.
  • Have excellent communications skills that insure quality solutions the first time resulting in a positive experience to the requester.
  • Utilize and maintain escalation contact lists for all Products and Services supported by the Pre Sales Support Center.
  • Broad knowledge of the computer systems environments, Operating Systems and the industry’s most popular applications and products.
  • In depth experience with the operation, installation and maintenance of several DELL EMC products or their industry equivalents.
  • Understand and be able to work questions within the most popular systems and environments in which DELL EMC products operate
  • Individuals will have the ability to utilized vendors web sites to clarify or identify solutions to Pre Sales Support Center requests.
  • Expand knowledge of DELL EMC products.
  • Sales / presales awareness
  • Experience working in or with DELL EMC’s Field Sales teams
