Job Summary

1.Study and revert of customer technical requirements. 2.If require get involve in customer discussions for technical query resolution.

3.Preparation of mechanical documents like motor GA, accessory drawing, terminal box drawings etc as per customer requirement.

4.Understand site constrain and accordingly prepare an acceptable motor GA.5.Study special accessory requirement from customer and discussion with supplier / purchase team to get the suitable offer.

6.Provide mechanical offer document to customer meeting all technical parameters as confirmed from electrical team. 7.Design material content reduction or usage of alternative material to reduce overall cost.

8.Prepare post order General Arrangement Drawings as per enquiry confirmation (for retrofit jobs) or standard library.9.Selection of bearing by appropriate calculation of life of bearing (Sleeve as well as antifriction).

10.Thrust bearing selection, communication with bearing supplier for finalization.11.Finalization of 2 pole rotor design by Critical speed analysis.

12.Take care of Hazardous area motor design mechanical accessories.13.Take care of any supplier or shop floor issues for released GA.
