Job Responsibilities :
Specific duties and responsibilities include improving the reliability and performance of Nextgen Office applications as well as increasing organizational throughput through automation improvements as we scale to handle new customers and faster feature development.
Technical leader of a team of Application, Data / DB and Infrastructure engineers.
Create and update technical root cause analysis for production problems.
Enhance and extend automation to improve speed, reliability and repeatability of infrastructure build outs.
Identify relevant business metrics and implement real time monitoring, alerting, trending and dashboarding.
Analyze, troubleshoot, communicate and suggest improvements for site performance and reliability problems.
Strong sense of ownership, customer service oriented
Enhance and extend CICD automation to improve speed, reliability and repeatability of deployments of internal and 3rd party software.
Identify relevant CICD metrics and implement real time monitoring, alerting, trending and dashboarding.
Analyze, troubleshoot, communicate and suggest improvements for CICD.
Strong sense of ownership, DevOps philosophy oriented
Required Qualifications :
Experience : 12 18 yrs
Degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years’ experience as technical lead in SRE and / or CICD
5+ years’ experience with System Administration
5+ years’ experience with CICD tooling (Gradle, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Sonarqube, Junit)
5+ years’ experience with networking (Cisco, F5, VPNs)
5+ years’ experience with storage devices (XtremeIO, Pure)
5+ years’ experience with virtualization (VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes)
5+ years’ scripting experience (Python preferred)
5+ years’ experience with monitoring, alerting, trending, dashboarding tools (Nagios, DataDog, StatusPage, SumoLogic / Splunk / ELK / EFK, Grafana,etc)
3+ years in implementing and / or migrating to AWS infrastructure
Experience troubleshooting Apache Tomcat and Java applications
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience with Bitbucket / Jira / Confluence
Understanding of web technologies, including web services, web application servers and RESTful APIs.
Experience working in complex, high availability, 24X7X365 SaaS environments.
Experience working in a HIPAA / PHI environment
Desired Qualifications :
Database experience in Oracle, MySQL, RDS, PostgreSQL, Aurora
NoSQL databases, ideally MongoDB
AWS or similar cloud provider
DevOps experience, passion for automation
