Job Description

The purpose of this role is to develop and implement an integrated communications strategy that enhances the Novartis Pharma reputation, in line with global guidelines and in tune with local market conditions.

The strategies and programs should be targeted to external and internal audiences with a strong social media element and with patient inclusion as the cornerstone of our business.

  • Establish, develop and coordinate communication plans in-line with CPO and corporate strategic goals, and desired market position for identified therapies / brands oInternal ommunications Yearly integrated / aligned plans for internal communications in line with global and regional plans.
  • Successful implementation of communications plans in close cooperation with key business partners. Identification, anticipation, and management of issues by working with appropriate functions and counsel management.

    Profile country leadership team by sharing stories that bring our philosophy to win for patients to life. o Brand Communication Yearly integrated / aligned plans for brand communications in line with global plans.

    Help create and execute innovative strategies towards enhancing disease awareness of public and healthcare professionals as part of market development and category expansion initiatives Ensure consistency of Novartis brand in communications, by ensuring alignment at the Disease Area and brand level Incorporate the patient voice into the Disease Area / brand integrated product strategy as well as communications and social media plans.

    Diligent issues management. Leveraging global media opportunities and creating specific local ones. Implementation of global activities and projects.

    o Overall Strong and successful cross-functional collaboration within the country and AMAC region. Management of PR and communications agencies including budget.

    Regional / Global coordination : alignment with Local / Regional / Global Communication strategies, Operational Excellence : Timeliness and quality of Communication and briefs Disseminate information to relevant stakeholders through appropriate use of the media oKey interfaces include : Communications Head -

    Country Pharma Organization; Functional Teams; Disease Area Brand Management Teams; Legal; Compliance; Corporate communications team and Regional and Global Communication team

    University degree

  • MBA preferred English Communications positions (Ideal is a combination of Agency and Corporate experience. Digital marketing experience is preferred
