Wells Fargo’s Risk and Finance CIO organization provides technology to several lines of businesses including Risk, Compliance, Finance, Audit and Legal with a combined technology spend in excess of $500+MM annually and is an 1100+ person global organization.
Within this CIO Organization, Operational Risk and Audit Technologies is tasked with providing vision, setting priorities, and implementing technology capabilities across Operational Risk & Audit.
As a part of the Wells Fargo’s Enterprise Information Technology Well Fargo India team, this is a management position responsible for the application development, maintenance, and project delivery for a portfolio of Op.
Risk and Audit related applications within the Line of Business from Wells Fargo India locations. This role is responsible for the management of medium sized technology teams from India locations with the delivery / execution accountability including people management.
Manage multiple teams engaged in development / maintenance and support Enterprise Access Management applications.
Accountable for the overall development life cycle of the solution and manage multi-release multi-complexity projects from Well Fargo India locations
Responsible for driving best practices for software development and documentation, assures designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work managing the schedules.
Responsible to engage with the Application Architects and other CoE Partners (included but not limited to DBA, Cloud, Architecture and Application Support teams for the safety and soundness of the assigned applications
Provide direction for agile transformations, build and manage agile teams and establish CI / CD pipeline
Provide direction and technical expertise in design, development phases, lead & participate in architecture discussions, code review etc.
and review the completed work effectively
Provide effort estimates, identify resource needs, and enforces project and delivery standards
Review status of system applications and prepare recommendations for improvements / modernization
Motivate team members and promote a strong sense of code quality, extensibility, and reusability
Work in a matrix environment and build good working relationships with multiple stakeholders
Pro-actively identify talent needs, and plan for / manage attrition
Must have 12+ Years of experience and proven record of managing 15+ Technology Team Members
5+ years of leadership or management experience, in an IT environment
5+ years of application development experience in developing application using Java / Microsoft Technologies.
Should have strong application development background (including Testing) and have good understanding of Agile practices
Ability to deal with a given problem scenario in multiple aspects (Technology, Talent, Process or Partner)
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across organizational lines and with virtual team members
Experience with Agile and iterative development
Engineering mindset, and self-driven to take up additional responsibilities and accountability
Ability to approach problem holistically and come up with innovative solutions to address the root cause of the issue, rather than the outcomes of the same
