As a Compensation Analyst II, youll be a key part of the collaborative team at Giant Eagle. You will provide professional level compensation analysis and support for Giant Eagles US compensation processes and programs.
This role will partner with other members of the compensation team to effectively execute on strategic initiatives so that Giant Eagle can attract, motivate and reward our talent.
Administer Giant Eagle pay programs and monitor internal and external compensation data in order to ensure Giant Eagle programs are in compliance with all federal and state regulations and are market competitive.
Administrative responsibility and oversight for all Compensation related processes including (but not limited to) step progressions, merit increases, union across the board increases, bonuses along with data integrity, reporting and adherence to global compensation-related business processes.
Partners with HRIS to optimally configure and enhance compensation business processes and compensation-related objects in Workday.
Respond to compensation surveys, extract and summarize pay data and communicate with survey administrators to verify data.
Gather market-based compensation data utilizing a compensation tool, like CompAnalyst, and compare market data to internal jobs in order to ensure internal equity.
Analyze job content, determine internal and external value and assign title and grades to positions.
Provide ad hoc data reporting and analysis to compensation staff in a timely and accurate manner. Produces statistical and operational reports to guide compensation decision-making.
Ensure all survey results, team member data, job data, and pay structures in the system are up-to-date and accurate. Gather and suggest enhancements on behalf of Giant Eagle
