In this role, you will be working with a team of enthusiastic members supporting our critical production finance system and guiding our business partners & end users with industry best practices, solution design, & creating long term value to our customers.
The key responsibilities are :
Support S&P Global’s critical finance business function system for continuous excellence
Work with end users, product owners, and development teams from Zuora, Salesforce, Akritiv, or Oracle E-Business Suite
As a Business Analyst, you will have the responsibility to be proactive in understanding and assessing accounting, financial reporting and analysis systems as assigned and to identify areas to strengthen the operational effectiveness and excellence, leverage technology and improve the quality of process, programs or applications for the business area(s).
Manage work for support team and incidents resolution
Assist in creating comprehensive technical documents
Actively deliver Finance Month-end close activities
Develop business solutions to achieve cost-effectiveness, productivity and quality.
Supervise activities between resources, and facilitate smooth workflow for service delivery
Analyze define and interpret business needs and issues by gathering, analyzing, documenting and validating the Business area(s) and user(s) technical (functional / non-functional) requirements.
Work in an Agile team and able to articulate problem statements & solution recommendations with good communication and documentation skills
Identifies opportunities for functional improvements and enhancements to maximize the effectiveness of available technology.
Be up to date with current field practices to enhance service standards and delivery
Understand end-to-end solution and integrations in the overall architecture
Resolve issues with the appropriate design at the right time with the least cost
Remain knowledgeable of current technology and carry out research to identify new trends that can be used to achieve maximum results
What we are looking for :
Basic Qualification) :
Should have 3-6 years’ experience in Implementation / Support for R12 Oracle e-business suite.
Strong hands-on experience in different modules such as Account Payables (AP) , Account Receivables (AR) , General Ledger (GL) , Fixed Assets (FA) , Cash Management (CM) , Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS).
Proficient with Order to Cash as a team member
Prior experience in working in an Agile team
Basic understanding of Procure to Pay process flow
Basic understanding of Agile best practices
Should have working experience in FRICEW design
Capable to create functional designs and interpret technical designs
Good understanding of development environments and code testing process
Good communication skills (Verbal and Written) and be able to articulate the problems and make design decision
Good understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite implementation methodologies such as AIM
Ability to work on determining design approach and capability of making estimation and planning
Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Excellent team player & interpersonal skills
Experience collaborating with clients on business process enhancements
Preferred Qualification :
Certification in Oracle will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Oracle Financial Cloud will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Informatica will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Zuora Application will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Salesforce Application will be an added advantage (some combination of Opportunity Management or Quote Management implementation knowledge is a plus)
Knowledge of Vertex Application will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Akritiv tax Application will be an added advantage
