We’re recruiting for Senior Teacher, South Asia Teacher Development for India Teaching Centres forNorth India at Delhi location.

  • This is an excellent role for individuals with experience of academic management,Programme delivery and management, achievement of business targets through effective leadership of the teacherdevelopment initiatives;
  • who will now have an opportunity to work forKnowledge and application of British Council planning cycle plus policies, processes andtimetables.

    In the role, you will :

    Enhance the British Council’s reputationas the world’s English experts and to promote and ensure quality teaching andeffective learning of English across India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

    This postsupports the achievement of business targets through effective leadership ofthe teacher development initiatives across Teaching Centers and supporting the operationalmanagement of the Delhi Teaching Centre.

    And contribute to a professional, insight-led, high impact strategy, to deliverspecific measurable results as defined by the English SBU.

    To apply and be effectivein the role you will need :

  • Child protection training experience.
  • Planning and Forecasting (Level 2) Knowledge and application of BC planning cycle plus policies, processes and timetables
  • Monitoring and Reporting (Level 2) Monitor financial performance against targets and takes action to manage exceptions (e.
  • g. over / under-spend on a particular budget). Knowledge of the UK’s cultural and educational assets

  • Professional sector expertise in education management including proven business development experience
  • Proven holistic leadership and organisational management experience
  • Proven ability to present effectively in meetings with internal and external stakeholders and host high-profile events
