This role will be responsible for suppoting implementation of broad range of reward practices & policies in the country / region.

Country C&B considered as Point of Reference for any country related compensation & benefit matters.

This role is a key subject matter expert of the Compensation and Benefits functions locally; the role provides local insights, consultation and advice to Human Resources Business Partners and the senior business leaders as required.

Key responsibilities

1. Compensation Benchmarking : Ensure external competitiveness of internal salary ranges by benchmarking against comparators

2. Conducts and analyzes survey results to assist in comparing compensation and benefits plans, Participates in development of compensation and benefits policy.

3. Designing / refreshing Salary scale, monitors and analyzes competitive trends in compensation & benefits and evaluates alternatives to reduce costs and improve delivery.

4. Managing the Annual increment and incentive programs for the region / country.

5. Annual planning, forecasting and budgeting exercises for all direct costs for employees (salary and benefits, annual increments, incentives, rewards and awards programs) for the region / country.

6. Oversees administration of compensation programs and maintenance of required records for audit purposes

7. Annual Salary review exercise and administration of compensation review process cycle; off-cycle pay adjustments

8. Monitors compensation trends within the organization and provides analytics to support operational efficiency

9. Talent Strategy : Work with business HR on talent attraction / retention strategies by providing inputs on aspects like salary scale, hiring range, retention bonus, joining bonus, etc.

10. Provide ongoing support to line managers and HR on operations matters related to compensation

11. Compensation Programs : Keep abreast with new trend and best practice in C&B field. Participate in designing and revision of compensation-related policies and procedures

12. Understanding of Country compliance,acts and regulations, Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations.

Qualifications & Functional Knowledge

  • Relevant experience in C&B cyclic activities, policy harmonization etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of concepts & principal of India compensation & benefits, employment acts, other companies’ compensation & benefit programs.
  • Data Analytics, Well versed with MS Excel.
