The Engineering Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and development of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team.
The overall objective of this role is to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned frameworks.
Implement and support DevOps Messaging, APIM and Open shift container platform across the GCT APAC & EMEA Region.
Design and implement new patterns for Messaging Products like Solace, Kafka, Tibco, CI-CD, Splunk, Cloud etc.
Proof of Concept and Certification of new products as per project requirements.
Fine tune and automate the existing manual steps and processes.
Design, implement and support the necessary solution as needed by development teams.
Lead the team of 4-5 offshore staff and provide technical guidance to the team.
Work as point of contact and Lead for India team within the DevOps Messaging team.
Work with different stakeholders such as development teams, infrastructure, project management, testing team with end-to-end ownership.
Represent Devops team in new business project discussion and deliver end to end with high quality.
Partner with CTI (infra) and Engineering teams to address the gaps by designing the new solutions and implementing them.
guide & mentor offshore team consisting of vendor staff on day-to-day tasks
Generate reports & metrics on adoption, pending issues etc.
0-2 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and / or global environment
Project Management experience
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
Demonstrated analytic / diagnostic skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Proven track record of operational process change and improvement
Bachelor’s degree / University degree or equivalent experience
