RESPONSIBILITIES See Job Description Completion Guide on back cover Strategy / Business / Processes / People and Talent / Risk Management / Governance / The Product Finance Product Accounting Initiatives Support Team will support the Team Lead with : Working with Product Finance to understand the trade / transaction flows and products, and advise accounting double entries that are consistent with IFRS, Group Accounting Policy Manual and Local GAAP where required and any deviations are documented and signed off accordingly Liaising between Product Finance, (Aspire) Change teams, Technical Accounting, and Technology partners across various locations and time zones to ensure accounting delivery supports Business requirements Consulting regarding SAP FPSL SubLedger accounting configuration Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

Lead the Product Finance Product Accounting Initiatives Support team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key Stakeholders Product Finance & Product Control Users in particular Project Aspire representatives and Top Team Aspire Product Finance team members Aspire Technology team members Other Workstream team members in the Aspire Product Finance programme Other Workstream team members across the broader Aspire Programme (Data, Core Finance, Local Regulatory, Treasury) Aspire Technical Accounting Lead Group and Country Finance team members CIB Operations Change team members QUALIFICATIONS : Training, licenses, memberships and certifications Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent Investment banking experience (Product Control experience preferred) Detailed understanding of SAP FPSL SubLedger and other banking IT systems, including trade processing workflows, from trade booking to GL entries is essential Strong Data analysis skills Able to perform gap analysis, identify and escalate issues and risks to the appropriate parties Understanding of Local and IFRS GAAP requirements Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
