As Product Owner you will play a key role in designing and building solutions to help medical groups across the U.S. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to determine what should be built, with our engineering team to understand how it will be built, and then with our customer facing teams to share what has been built and the value it will bring.
A core element of your role will be to help build consistent planning discipline leveraging agile principles in working with the engineering team each day.
Own the lifecycle of product(s) under your portfolio. That includes :
System and Technical Design : Engage with Chief Product Officer and / or appropriate Product Manager, Scrum Master, Architects, and Engineering leads to ensure the product and its features are designed well for high performance, reliability, feature richness and quality.
Feedback : Solicit feedback from internal stakeholders on the features and design. When needed, also ask for customer feedback to inform decisions.
Lead demos of work as completed to solicit feedback and ensure continued alignment.
Manage : Manage workload closely on Jira with Scrum Master through daily standups and interactions. Create Jira stories and tasks with details on design and functionality requirements.
Align team around definition of done to ensure quality.
User Experience : Work with user experience designer to develop prototypes and brainstorm internally to get to best possible workflows that reduce complexity and create state of the art experience.
Documentation : Ensure product features are well documented.
Integrations : Ensure product is integrated with other subsystems and external 3rd party software like EHR, PM, etc. Work with integration team members to understand and align on priorities for work.
API contracts : Design API contracts and ensure adherence to standards as applicable.
Educating internal and external stakeholders : Ensure product features are communicated in advance to internal and external stakeholders so that the release and adoption can be well planned.
Release planning : Work with VP of Engineering to plan feature releases and work on timelines for each task that needs to be completed.
What You Should Bring :
Education : BE / MS / M. Tech / MCS / MCS from reputed universities with excellent records
At least 6-8 years of SAAS software development experience.
Out of which, at least 5 years of experience managing Software Development teams in a SAAS organization with Agile Scrum methodologies
Project management, AGILE, SAAS, Scrum certification will be and added advantage
Build : GIT, Maven, Gradle
Databases : SQL, No-SQL
Cloud : AWS
CI / CD : Sound understanding of Devops practices, Jenkins, containerization using Docker
