Responsibilities

  • Configuration and administration of several multi-node sites / Clustered Nodes
  • Create a stable Qlikview infrastructure by maintaining a consistent release policy; planning, testing, and executing release upgrades with the necessary breadth of participation on the part of development personnel and business users.
  • Identifying, reporting, and resolving (with vendor assistance) material bugs and deficiencies in the tools; and setting and achieving SLAs that deliver high levels of availability, reliability, and security.
  • Leverage existing (and evolving) standards to achieve consistency in the products and to speed development by adhering to a relatively narrow technology footprint.
  • Install and configure QlikView Server and Publisher and Manage security for all QlikView applications
  • Participate in overall architecture and strategy for the deployment of Qlikview suite of products.
  • Research and recommend alternative actions for problem resolution based on best practices and application functionality with minimal direction.
  • Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues. Environment monitoring pro-active monitoring to ensure performance on the server
  • Provide assistance in creating product roadmaps for maintaining BI solutions on Premises & Cloud AWS ( Backup & Restore ;
  • Disaster Recovery ; AWS Maintenance; License management ; Co-ordinate with multiple vendor teams to make sure for all Infra related maintenance)

  • Provide Leadership and Assistance in Administration, development, and maintenance of security provisioning for the supported BI solutions.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent
  • Solid relevant Qlikview Admin experience
  • Provide Leadership and Assistance for BI solutions to the rest of the organization. Provision of the guidance takes a number of forms, including : engaging in joint-development with various application development teams, providing second-level to Customer Service and primary support to the rest of the organization.
  • Documenting and communicating standards and procedures, developing and delivering internal training & certification programs, and assisting problem analysis and resolution.
  • Develop and Maintain applications to help support the infrastructure.
  • Experience in providing infrastructure support for all of the Development, QA, and Production application servers, user setup and maintenance for access on multiple database platforms, query design optimization, construction of new releases, implementation of patches, and Primarily Performance tuning.
  • Preferred qualifications

  • Prior Admin skills of other BI tools like BO / COGONOS / Tableau is ideal
  • Strong Analytical skill and communication skills
  • Ability to self-learn and teach more junior team members
  • Tolerance uncertainties, ability to take measured risk
