Position Purpose :

  • The Global Procurement Partner plans and leads sourcing projects within the category of analytical services on a divisional level and develops proposals for strategic business decisions.
  • The task is to provide high value procurement solutions to the business and category strategies; support third party vendor selection, vendor development, technology management and performance measurement activities.
  • The purpose is to ensure best-in-class delivery of external services and products in the analytical services category to support all projects and to realize year-
  • on-year productivity improvements, cost savings, and process improvements in close collaboration with the customers in the business.

    Major Accountabilities :

  • Accountable for development and implementation of the individual category procurement strategy in alignment with business needs.
  • Develop proposals for strategic business decisions and provide support of make-versus-buy options (eg. in- / outsourcing of technologies).
  • Accountable for strategic supplier relationship management for Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, organization and execution of regular Business Review Meetings and drive execution of action items.
  • Accountable with the BPA for the external budget planning linked to optimal demand management within his / her category.
  • First-point-of contact for all vendors and internal customers regarding their needs.
  • Accountable for establishment and maintenance of relationships with global strategic vendors, ensuring continuous improvement, spend / cost transparency and cross-
  • divisional account management with Tier 1 suppliers.

  • Proactively support the business in assessing of new innovative / technology-driven vendors through networking, cold-calls, conferences, etc.
  • Accountable for segmentation of the supplier base and approval of new vendors.
  • Negotiate and finalize MSA, SFA, MTA and other master agreements.
  • Accountable for productivity and savings planning as well as ensuring the procurement participation in the annual budgeting planning for the category.
  • Accountable for compliance with all the applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with the applicable law and the NFCM control matrix.
  • Minimum requirements

    Bachelor’s degree and min 12+ years experience in sourcing and project management in matrix corporate environments. English
