Job Description : -

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager, Corporate Training & Skill Development include :

  • Regular sales of products to existing & new customers to generate targeted revenue & profitability
  • Expand and strengthen the business and product portfolio via targeted strategic tie-ups in the assigned Region.

    Lead generation, credentials pitch, consultative questioning, solutions pitch, negotiations, closing and account on boarding as per Company Policies and Procedures.

    Constantly look for new clients, leverage existing professional network and leads to get more business and ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.

    Solution-Selling to prospective Customers - Display application and creativity in building a compelling Value Proposition for the prospective Customer Organizations.

    Enhance existing business relationships and constantly engage with them by presenting latest features and offers.

    Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any other documentation following Company procedures.

    Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to arrive at a positive conclusion.

    Ensure a smooth new client on-boarding process.

    Work with the team to develop mutually beneficial proposals that address client's concerns, objectives and training needs.

    Participate in various internal projects, contribute insights from a BD function perspective and provide support to Company initiatives.

    Be the Organization brand ambassador and plan approaches, pitches and schemes.

    Desired Candidate Profile : -

  • Preferebly Management Graduate with 3 to 4 years of experience in Business Development (B2B), Pre Sales, Conceptual & Solution Sales preferably in a Corporate Training Industry.
  • High Orientation towards solution selling to large corporations and a Target Achievement orientation.

    Understanding where Corporate Training Solutions would sit within the complex operations of a client and how to embed it.

    Proactive, agile and highly responsive towards achieving goals - leveraging key strengths and capitalizing on opportunities with a keen sense of urgency

    Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and verbal communication.

    Strong presentation skills. Inclined towards Solution selling- able to influence and persuade others to act or gain buy-in

    Strong interpersonal skills, able to successfully build and maintain networking relationships (both formal and informal)

    Persistent and resilient to resolve complex problems that requires negotiation, issue navigation and organization agility

    Drives innovation and change - thinks out-of-the box and is creative in looking for opportunities and solutions

    Continuously strives for excellence and improvement

    Problem Solver - overcomes issues and barriers to implement complex solutions

    Confident negotiator with good closing abilities
