We are looking for an IT developer to support the HPE Pointnext software solutions supporting parts supply chain, parts order management and customer warranty entitlement functions.

We are looking for an experienced IT developer / analyst who researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and / or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements.
Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems.
Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies.
The candidate will focus on maintaining system stability and performance, and provide level 4 support to resolve business problems.
This position will require skills of both a developer and solution analyst. This role will provide technical expertise to support and develop existing production solutions.
How you’ll make your mark :
You will be responsible and owner to drive issue resolution during major incident
You will foster an environment that drives performance and quality in the areas of customer satisfaction, knowledge creations, technical expertise and process improvement
You will ensure document run book for Level 4 support are up to date
You will be responsible for (Configuration applications) to analyze and resolving production issues within SLA and provide RCA if required
You will own for (Configuration applications) on defect fixing and enhancements
You will drive small enhancement roadmap and release planning and management
You will pay strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors
You will monitor and maintain application environment
You will recommend and automate application monitoring where applicable
You will understand and represent Deployment / Run function of the new requirements design to check supportability / scalability / performance
Participates as a member of development team or teams; may lead a small development team.
Performs analysis of functional and business requirements. Prepares code stubs for others. Completes code to implement solutions.
Contributes to design activities; may design solutions.
Codes independently; participates in code reviews and may lead code reviews. Designs, prepares and executes Unit tests.
Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain one or more technology areas (Microsoft IIS, .Net / C#, SQL, Oracle).
Performs solution design. Applies the company and 3rd party technologies to highly complex infrastructure and software solutions.
Independently implements end-user or enterprise infrastructure of moderate complexity or services prepared by more senior technologist for more complex solutions.
Debug and analyze existing code and solutions for production support and reverse engineering purposes.
Provide technical support and guidance for any production outages and issues.
Accountable for quality of the solution through the SDLC process by overseeing collaboration between Program Management, Project Management and Vendor Management.
Excellent organizational skills.
Experience of multiple full release cycles. Understanding of modern software development methodologies such as Agile / Scrum
Understand wider architecture landscape and positioning of the spare parts logistics solutions within the context of HPE’s Next Generation of IT program and the HPE Pointnext business plan for record.
Fit into HPE's collaborative culture working closely with HPE IT and Business leadership. Excellent communication skills.
Understanding of modern software development in Microsoft Technology Stack
Understanding of Software Test methodologies, and testing tools. Strong understanding of Basic Database Administration.
General Project Management.
Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team.
Education and Experience Required :
Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years related experience.
Previous experience with HPE Pointnext Services Supply Chain systems / applications desired.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience designing and managing large software systems. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Strong Technical leadership with key skills in understanding Java, .
NET, SAP system integrations
3 or more years of experience writing code in :
NET, ASP.NET, ASP
Linux & tools (such as scripting, editing, etc)
Open Source Products JUNIT, Jenkins, GIT, Maven- understands DevOps methodology
Integration Technologies (ingestion, data distribution, micro services)
Snaplogic, Addison, Kafka, Pub / Sub model, Informatica etc)
3 to 5 years of logistics (inventory management, order management, warranty entitlement) solutions and business relationship management experience is desirable
Experience in Service Now, ITSM Process desired
Knowledge of Telerik Contols a big plus
