Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible to support the management of Sandoz US team with reporting, analysis, planning, and other requests as needed helping the team and business achieve its objectives, in conformance with the prescribed reporting standards, timelines & output quality standards.

Responsible for 1. Management Reporting : Prepare accurate and timely monthly / quarterly business review decks, support monthly Cost / P&L reviews 2.

Cost Center Reporting Prepare Cost Center reports for Senior Management by business unit and resolve queries from business.

Business partner with stakeholders to keep a track of the costs of all line items by various cost centers & analyze the spend to assist in forecasting 3.

Planning Support - Support the plan cycles for submission of data into BPC or other tools and preparation of planning decks 4.

Project set up in system, spend tracking, and other support for investment requests 5. Business Analysis - Analyze the results and provide meaningful insights into the numbers and suggest relevant business actions 6.

Input all the relevant data into Local & Global BPC and ensure accuracy of numbers in both the systems 7. Drive continuous process improvements to drive efficiencies in processes, share and implement best practices from other engagements.

Support performance measurement and productivity enhancement initiatives at the site and in the business 8. Other - Liaison with business and upstream data providers to ensure robust reporting information in the systems

  • Accuracy in reports & timely submission, being detail oriented
  • Ability to respond in tight timelines with accurate numbers ; explain key drivers in reports
  • Ability to handle adhoc requests
  • Feedback collected from stakeholders
  • Expert knowledge of internal financial reporting systems
  • Communication skills ability to deliver the message in a concise manner, and provide suggestions to support decision-making
  • Minimum requirements

    Chartered Accountant or MBAs (Finance) English

  • 4-5 years of prior relevant experience in FP&A / BPA teams of MNCs or in the frontline Indian organizations working on business performance measurement, Forecasting, Corporate Finance, Financial analysis etc.
  • Good communication skills, eye for details, accuracy oriented
  • Strong Excel / PowerPoint skills (preferably with knowledge of VBA), experience in SAP and other BI systems
  • Able to collaborate across teams and prioritize various deliverables
  • Project strong business acumen and ability to support ad-hoc requests (e.g. data research and analysis)
  • Experience of interacting / operating with senior leadership and present financial data
  • Gather insights from Business Leads on a monthly basis in order to project high quality comments on Monthly Business Review decks
  • Strong Initiative skills to effectively work remotely and autonomously
  • Awareness & understanding of Finance IT systems architecture & data flows would be desirable
