We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Quality Reporting Product Management team within our Bengaluru division.

The Team : athenahealth is seeking a Senior Product Management Associate to build products and services for Clinicals. Help us reach our goal of becoming the healthcare backbone by enhancing our cloud-based EHR solution and leveraging the network effect of 85,400+ providers.

Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities) :

  • Creates multi-release product roadmaps by collaborating with user experience teams and communicates internally, noting the stages and timelines for various work.
  • Determines whether experiments, alpha and / or beta stages are needed to determine Product-Market fit and appropriately defines and utilizes them.
  • Works with the Product Leadership to prioritize problems or themes to reach the outcomes based on KPI’s and data driven prioritization.
  • Defines the outcome for sprints and releases and prioritizes the initiatives for the scrum teams.
  • Works with the developers and designers to build a product that meets the expected outcomes and market needs.
  • Works with both UX and Development to understand design or technology implications in solution ideas.
  • Build, groom and prioritize the backlog based on KPI / data driven decision making.
  • Education & Experience Required :

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters preferred; Degree (Bachelor’s or Masters) in Computer Science, Business, or Product Management / Design preferred
  • 5+ years overall professional experience
  • Experience working with Agile (Scrum) teams desired
  • Understanding of healthcare / health IT environment a plus
  • Experience testing and validating value of products in the market
  • Demonstrated success at driving vision and prioritization of products in a dynamic environment using analytic and quantitative capabilities
  • Knowledge & Skills :

  • Understanding of (or desire and ability to learn) medical terminology, EHRs, and value-based care landscape
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks and challenge
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues, hypothesize solutions, and see them through to completion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience or a desire to learn querying language (e.g. SQL, etc) and BI analytics tools (e.g. Tableau, Snowflake)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite : Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, OneNote
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and / or Access skills and experience in business operations and development support tools (e.
  • g., Salesforce, Jira) a plus
