The Business Analyst (BA) will report to the Manager of Strategic sourcing. Responsibilities Manage public cloud cost, usage and governance Drive data analysis and reporting, highlighting key insights and recommended actions (levers for improvement) Partner across the organization in developing and refining best practices and governance for public cloud adoption, usage and performance Partner with organizational leaders in understanding use cases, implementing and controlling expenditures Build and refine a driver based public cloud model for the organization Build partnerships internally to both support and influence strategic decisions Build partnerships with public cloud providers Perform periodic peer and competitive benchmarking analysis Responsible for public cloud forecasting, annual planning, long range planning and actuals reporting Qualifications, Professional Skills Graduate or post graduate preferably in finance, with 1-5 years of experience in a project management / forecasting / public cloud governance role Familiarity with spreadsheets and powerpoint required Experience in public cloud management - AWS / GCP / Azure Experience in an IT software / product company preferred Demonstrated ability to derive analytical insights from trended data Ability to independently drive projects based on analysis, across multiple teams Strong Team Player, excellent business partnering skills, positive attitude and good work ethic Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with P&L analysis and an understanding of GAAP accounting and finance concepts Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently while meeting deliverables under tight time constraints
