This is a QualityAssurance Analyst position where experience, skills and knowledge include athorough understanding of software testing practices, policies and proceduresand are applied to complete tasks to advance organizational testing efforts. Aperson is responsible for following procedures to ensure that all LogFireproducts meet organization standards and end-user requirements. A person wouldexecute and document the testing of software/applications to ensure properoperation and freedom from defects for product releases with a large anddiverse scope. This person will be responsible for participating in productrelease QA, bug resolution QA as well as being part of the team to buildautomated regression suite. The scope of work includes providing estimates,defining test approaches, creating appropriate test cases and execution withhigh quality.

Other responsibilitiesinclude:

-Develops and documentstest cases, best practices and ensures they are communicated and applied.

-Defines and documentstest plans for new/existing systems to projects with diverse scope andincreased complexity.

-Manually creates andinput test data or uses tools, programs or extracted production data to executetest cases.

-Participates atrequirements reviews, design reviews, system analysis and facilitates thetesting review process.

-May lead therequirements or design effort as they relate to testing.

-Reviews test plans,test cases and test scripts of other team members.

-Determines if manualand/or automated test tools should be used to execute test cases and usesautomated test tools to execute the testing process. Creates automated testscripts and shares with others.

-Creates/maintainsprocesses and documentation for tool maintenance.

-Ensuring that standardsfor production applications are followed. Supports improvements in overallquality results through the use of statistical measurements and tools.

Qualifications

-Bachelor's Degree in abusiness or information technology, or related discipline.

- A minimum of 3+ years'of experience in system testing of software applications

-Thorough understandingof test design and a variety of test techniques including white box and blackbox testing.

-Proven technicalknowledge and skills including Quality Center, ALM, SQL Queries, HTML/HTML5,vbscript, and Automation Tools including QTP and FitNesse (FIT).

- Experience in aquality assurance capacity on a Scrum or other Agile team.

- Excellent written andverbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in Englishboth verbally and in writing. Also Spanish Fluency Preferred

- Demonstrated skillsand experience in working with virtual and geographically dispersed teams todevelop/test software.

-Work experience in a supply chain industry, preferred

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. A of 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
