As a Technical Project Manager, you will collaborate with business and technology teams across Amazon and Zappos to plan, execute, and finalize all aspects of a given project.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects and priorities in an ever-changing environment. Oh, and you have to have fun doing it! Considering the nature of what we do, our TPMs are heavy on the T (technical).
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the technical components that comprise a solution and how they interact with one another.

7+ years of experience delivering end-to-end product requirements for internal facing products
Manage large technology efforts, delivering significant features or re-architectures to large, critical, and / or highly complex systems and these require you to work with multiple teams within and / or across organizations.
Ability to successfully manage all stages of a program (from concept to delivery). Your programs meet challenging business goals and / or show measurable improvements in engineer efficiency / experience.
Understand the architecture of the systems you work with (e.g., workflows, APIs, runtime characteristics, design limitations, and maintenance requirements).
Self-manage the following : Scope and change requests, schedule and deliverables, communication, risk and issue management, contingency planning, resource appropriation, prioritizing tasks with the team & conflicts for multiple projects.
Communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all types of audiences including Directors and VPs.
Actively participate in the hiring process as well as mentor others - improving their skills and ability to get things done.
Online retail experience is a plus
