Role Summary :

Act as SPOC for customer and all other stakeholders involved in a project. Manage project schedule, cost and quality of project and drive customer satisfaction complying company's and customer's quality & execution guidelines.

Opportunity to work on product line - MS (Measurement & Sensing).

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for developing practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. Responsible for work that is less defined in scope, should be able to utilize experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to effect short-
  • term and some long-term business goals.

  • Primary customer contact. Resolve specification and commercial issues, manage correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate / coordinate with staff as appropriate.
  • Manage the financial performance of the assigned projects.
  • Ensure on-time delivery in accordance with contract.
  • Manage project risk issues including receivables, claims, contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective project closeout.
  • Lead project team through contract reviews to identify & manage risks, monitor financial and operational performance against the agreed timescales, and initiates corrective action where appropriate.
  • Responsibility for managing OTR matrix teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, Finance and Services.
  • Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical) with 8-10 years of experience
  • Experience in project management and execution. Preferably working with an instrumentation company with knowledge on detailed engineering
  • Proficient in Project management software / Tools such as MS Project / Primavera and ERP (SAP / ORACLE).
  • Job requires 30% travel to customer sites / factory.
  • Coordinating with teams across the globe operating at different time zones.
  • Proven experience in people management / strategic planning / risk management / change management.
  • Working knowledge on financial documents such as Letter of credits / Bank Guarantees / Commercial Invoices etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
