As a part of the BMC, AWS and Markets Editorial team of Global Delivery Services (GDS), the Supervising Associate ensures that customers receive the highest quality deliverables with respect to editorial support and writes or scripts creative or formal business documents or collateral.
The Supervising Associate also writes or scripts for ey.com along with managing the editorial team and documentation projects.
The role also includes rewriting of sentences to improve readability, review the work of other writers and editors with an eye for detail to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, syntax and also to check or edit content for language, flow and grammar issues.
Roles and responsibilities
Scripts or creates content for internal and external communications material (newsletters, mailers, flyers, brochures and so on)
Supports client’s digital initiatives with strategic support as and when required
Liaises with stakeholders and design teams to ensure smooth execution of projects
Edits deliverables to ensure quality and consistency in their content (e.g., charts, graphs and tables) with respect to EY writing style norms
Assists in peer reviews and quality checks
Manages own work with minimal guidance
Relates editorial work to the client’s business needs
Provides timely and appropriate response to ad hoc editorial and writing requests
Understands the audience perspective and adds value to editing
Ensures compliance with EY copyright laws
Supports the firm brand, understands, implements, and strictly adheres to the quality standards and procedures established by EY, including verbal and branding guidelines
Interacts and collaborates with internal teams on projects involving multiple teams
Pursues and shares best practices within department
Trains team members on EY verbal guidelines
Eager and a fast learner who is willing to expand their set of core skills
