Candidate Responsibilities :
You are part of the IT team within procurement. This team is responsible for all procurement activities related to IT HW, SW, applications, licenses for NXP.
Your role will be in tasks associated with the procurement of IT HW and related items.
As an individual contributor, the role concerns that you will take the lead in complex international global projects, including global stakeholder management, and international negotiations.
Major characteristics of the function :
Lead commercial negotiations consisting cross-functional international team members
Responsible for driving the commercial negotiations and coordinating the contracting activities
Provide input into stakeholder scope of requirements while offering commercial suggestions for value creation and maintaining a competitive environment
Establish and create Negotiation Plans for high value international projects
Develop contractual instruments (MSA’s, SOW’s, etc.) in accordance with best practices, while ensuring stakeholder requirements are achieved
Perform market research to obtain market knowledge and experience to develop negotiation strategies
Actively manage all supplier relations through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), develop global market and commodity plans, remain knowledgeable in the current market trends
Work with a high degree of independence by establishing international sourcing strategies with stakeholders while working to achieve organizational and departmental goals
Analysis of spend categories and market conditions for appropriate application of sourcing strategies in the Innovation area
Develop and lead global RFP’s to include the scope of work creation, negotiation planning, and driving results which meet organizational goals
Candidate Profile :
B.Tech or equivalent is required
MBA from a top-class institute like IIM is desirable
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
15years of Indirect Procurement with >
10 years of international global sourcing experience
International knowledge of Indirect sourcing with specialized knowledge of IT HW related procurement topics related to IT SW & Services is a plus
Affinity with legal contractual terms and conditions
Demonstrated experience in conducting negotiations in North America, APAC and Europe
Proven experience in managing multiple, simultaneous, complex sourcing events, and contractual activities
Experience in managing and / or leading international commercial procurement projects
Strong team player and collaboration skills on an international level
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple activities at one time
Ability to work independently in a dynamic and ambiguous global environment supporting multiple time zones
Creative thinker, interested in innovation as well as pragmatic results
Excellent planning, analytical, and negotiation skills
Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint presentation and data analytical skills
Background working in the Procurement for IT in semiconductor or consumer industry is highly desirable
