Inviting applications for the role of SM, Transition

It involves dealing with Practice SME s, Operations Leaders, Lean Digital Transformation Team, Analytics Team, Customers / Relation Managers / Enabling Functions / Global teams.

The Transition function plays a key role in stabilizing new processes being migrated within the designated areas and ensuring smooth running of the same.

This includes setting up of performance metrics, regular monitoring of processes, ensuring controls are in place, risk analyses are performed for every process, adequate training of resources, establishing communication channels with various internal / external teams and building relationships for long terms success.


The job exists due to the criticality around seamlessly managing large-scale & complex projects for the Transition function and creating a value-

add for internal stakeholders by streamlining / simplifying their processes, thus creating meaningful business impact.

Develop an understanding of the E2E solution and value being proposed

Contribute to the creation of the E2E Transition strategy / solution, along with the TL, by Consolidating relevant inputs from cross functional teams, with in line with the E2E solution, Validating rationale / assumptions for the proposed digital compendium proposed.

  • Own all RFP document updates.
  • Participate in Pre-Transition Workshops to gain further insight and fine tune the transformation solution to meet client s stated and unstated needs

    Understand G s Digital Compendium - Transformation Services offerings, solutions, digital assets and their deployment toolkits -

    with sharp focus on client / domain specific agendas

    Drive the deployment of digital compendium in Transformation solutions, as identified

    Develop and refine Client engagement strategies in line with client expectations and relationship management practices

    Engage the Client project Teams to identify potential opportunities (unstated)

    Taps into internal networks TLs / SMEs / SDLs / People Function etc. to identify relevant ideas or customize existing transformation solution to accordance to client s expectations

    Manage expectations and gain relevant buy-in / ownership to drive the Project agenda as laid out.

    Identify and communicate risks, and co-create change solutions throughout the Project period

    Build a foundational knowledge of revenue, AOI impact and cost drivers for a business during the transition lifecycle

    Responsible for SLA Adherence during the transition lifecycle (90 days post go-live)

    Execute and control the implementation of the financial strategies to realize their benefits and positively impact E2E transition costs.

    Analyze and take corrective action to stay on track with transition cost and On Time delivery

    Build a deep understanding of the domain, products and service lines within the industry

    Develop a strong acumen around Client s business know-how and expectations

    Develop and validate own viewpoint , based on the information gathered, in discussion with the TLs.

    Leverage existing Viewpoint to contextualize the transformation solutions to exceed client expectations and enhance our value proposition

    Hold conversations / presentations that are : Client focused and contextually aligned , Focused on project outcomes / capabilities for the client, Bring out the credibility of the individual as a trusted advisor , Bring out the credibility of an organization as a consultant.

    Mobilize a clear and effective cross functional (including Ops / People Function etc.) program team to drive project outcomes

    Develop the project plan in line with the required change, associated costs and intended outputs

    Implement the defined internal and external governance strategies (risks / issues / communication / compliance & controllership / knowledge / people / reporting etc.

    creating a zero surprise environment through the project cycle.

    Implement change readiness strategies to transition to steady-state Operations in order to realize the new capabilities.

    Foresee, assess, communicate and mitigate project & process risks to impacted parties

    Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

    University graduate; Post- Graduation degree preferable

    Technical / Digital background - Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI or equivalent certification

    Experience in a relevant field and relevant multinational companies

    Project management / active Transitions experience

    Exposure to project management tools and technologies; familiarity with any of the major ERP platforms (e.g. SAP or Oracle)

    Should have strong domain expertise experience in consulting / organisational change / at least 1 transformational project

    Transformation Focused Solution Provider : Contribute to Transformation Focused transition solutions in sync with E2E view of the proposed solution

    Digital Suedo Native : Build a Digital Mind-set

    Strategic / Outcome Focused Client Interactions : Build strong relationships with the Client Project Team on a bedrock of Project / Change / Risk based conversations

    Controller of E2E Transition Costs : Be accountable for Transition Costs and On Time Delivery

    Global Viewpoint Holder : Leverage Client / Domain insights through internal / external intelligence to build checks and balances for best in breed solutions

    Transformation Management (Incl Outcome, Project, Risk, Change) : Lead & manage the Transformation project / s set up through to delivery of the new capabilities, and closure for specific deal

    Storyteller : Hold engaging & impactful business conversations with internal stakeholders / client s project team to achieve defined outcomes

    People Investor : Take personal responsibility to Develop self on Transition Skills of the Future

    Organization Builder : Contribute to Digital / Strategic initiatives to align functional imperatives and G growth agenda

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience or exposure on at 1 digital deployment or projects

    Experience in engaging into strategic and tactical discussion with senior stakeholders to sell the product offering

    Provide inputs for Transformation Focused transition solutions in sync with E2E view of the proposed solution

    Build strong relationships with the Client Project Team on a bedrock of Project / Change /

    Lead & manage the project set up through to delivery of the new capabilities, and closure for all deals

    Develop the Transition Skills of the Future in Self
