Webscale Networks is currently seeking to build out our team of Sales Development Representatives , based in Bangalore India.
As a member of our Sales organization, your primary responsibility will take to set qualified meetings for our quota carrying sales people.
In this role you will :
Develop the prospect pipeline through identification, targeting and soliciting online / phone meetings with prospects and developing qualified leads.
Clean up and document all leads provided by various corporate marketing programs. Possess the ability and the daily discipline necessary to focus on the important activities.
Support marketing programs as needed, such as creation and maintenance of mailing lists, invitations.
Pull data from online sources like LinkedIn or prospect websites as needed.
Demonstrates an ability to work as part of a team.
Develop understanding for Webscale’s offerings
Articulate Webscale’s business value proposition to decision makers to assess buying interest
Basic technology industry awareness.
Lead prospecting to identify, contact and qualify potential customers.
Closed-loop tracking and metrics reporting to management.
Meet or exceed required targets on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
Submit timely updates and input in SalesForce.com with an eye for accuracy and detail.
Respond to telephone calls and email requests from employees in a timely manner.
Other duties as required.
Technical Degree (BE / BS / BTech) required. MBA preferred.
0-3 years of sales experience
Experience of opportunity qualification over phone calls
A proven track record of developing strong client relationships a plus
Must be proficient in MS Office, Google Apps, and Salesforce
Ability to self-motivate, multi-task and work independently or within a team of peers and partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Well-developed English speaking skills, interpersonal skills and professionalism with a high degree of integrity.
Participate fully in meetings, training sessions, individual professional development and skill building.
Should be willing to working late night shift up to at least 2AM IST to support the US market
