You as an Automation Lead Engineer Cold Metal Process Engineer will be responsible for following
Follow and apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform the job.
Collaborates on project installation, commissioning and site activity, provides technical support to commissioning and startup activities.
Interacts with customer, contractors, and vendors. Attends project meetings and presents all technical aspects of project assignments.
Collaborates and networks with engineering colleagues within ABB. Share’s best practice across different projects and disciplines.
Leads, supervises and coordinates teams in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on low complexity projects.
Leads single or multi-discipline engineering teams of less than 5 resources. Optimized engineering of project within the agreed schedule.
Preparation of list of deliverables, technical specifications. Preparation of application software and necessary graphics.
Factory acceptance test. Delivering as-built and as commissioned documents.
Ensuring the quality of engineering deliverable.
On-time start-up (commissioning) of the delivered projects. Capturing customer complaints and timely solution. Updating reusable solutions, work-
around and problems handled into database.

Requirements : Your Background
Should have 4 -10 years of relevant work experience in automation solutions by similar suppliers in metal industry.
Knowledge of DCS / PLC HW / SW Components.
Knowledge in application programming & HMI development / modifications for PLC / DCS systems.
Knowledge on different communication protocols used in automation.
Knowledge of AC / DC Drives (Converters / Inverters).
Knowledge on drive tuning and different drive configurations & their interfaces.
