Human Resources develops and executes successful recruiting programs, learning and expertise-development initiatives, strategic staffing assignments, effective reporting and analytics, performance management processes, and work-life benefits and operations.


We seek a creative and energetic Recruiting Specialist to join our New Delhi, India office. The University Relations Lead is responsible for developing and executing a recruiting program that attracts qualified candidates to fill entry-level and intern positions in India.

The University Relations Lead coordinates recruiting activities with core academic institutions, develops and maintains relationships with university placement offices and faculty, maintains and develops the firm's brand and image on university campuses and provides recruiting teams with guidance on recruitment processes.

In addition, this individual manages the firm’s internship program and relationship with employees on academic leave.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and drive ZS’ overall geographic university recruitment strategy to fill full-time and internship positions, including sourcing channel selection, recruiting events, selection process and attraction strategy;
  • Market ZS as an employer of choice through university branding / events, social media efforts, communications and job postings;
  • participate in university recruiting activities as appropriate;
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business and build college recruiting programs that strategically align with ZS’ needs;
  • Identify and train internal volunteers / university recruiting teams to represent the firm; ensure appropriate events staffing (Ambassadors, etc.);
  • Act as primary contact for internal stakeholders regarding university / MBA candidates;
  • Serve as primary contact for undergraduate and MBA candidates throughout the recruiting life cycle - enhancing a candidate’s opinion of the firm by providing an inclusive view of our culture, services and benefits;
  • Maintain engagement with participants in ZS’ Advanced Degree Program;
  • Coordinate the firm’s internship program (channel selection and interviews, program content, evaluation, full-time placement);
  • Develop and maintain relationships with faculty, administration, career services employees and student organizations;
  • Evaluate the success and effectiveness of university recruiting initiatives and recommend / lead change to drive excellence, as appropriate;
  • Maintain focus on university recruiting trends and disseminate market intelligence to key stakeholders; provide subject matter expertise on recruiting practices;
  • Utilize firm-standard tools to capture recruiting and hiring activity for ZS’ reporting
  • Supervise University Relations staff member(s);
  • Assist with national initiatives and projects, as needed.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, master’s degree preferred;
  • Five to ten years of work experience within a recruiting capacity (university recruiting preferred). Professional services experience strongly preferred;
  • Strategic thinker with proven experience in executing business plans with appropriate follow through and status updates to relevant parties;
  • Capacity to effectively manage and prioritize projects independently and multitask with a superior attention to detail; solid organizational and time management skills;
  • Solid analytic / diagnostic skills to resolve unexpected inquiries and issues while maintaining a professional demeanor;Ability to effectively adapt to changing priorities with flexibility and creativity;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and build external working relationships required;
  • Data analysis / metric reporting experience;
  • Team-oriented player with a genuine positive attitude and a high level of energy; experience leading and motivating a recruiting team preferred;
  • Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a focus on delivering projected results (high volume / high quality candidates);
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, strong personal presence and telephone etiquette;
  • Understanding of employment laws and hiring practices;
  • Willingness and ability to travel to firm offices and Universities / recruiting events, as needed.
  • Software Requirements :

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Prior experience working with applicant tracking systems required (i.e., ADP, Kenexa, etc.) ;
  • Effective and innovative use of social media as a promotion / sourcing strategy.
