WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Design Lead in the Design Studios team, you will be a creative thought leader with an excellent design background who will lead, guide, mentor, and motivate a team of designers in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

You will work with our consultant teams, leading and overseeing design projects end to end by executing complex and ambiguous briefs with minimal direction, translating business language and processes into creative ideas, concepts, and engaging stories to achieve their vision and leverage storytelling in compliance with BCG standards.

You’ll lead and develop creative briefs that capture the business challenge, set timelines, ensure that all deadlines are met, and communicate with clients, and you’ll conceptualize and ideate creative solutions, support all design decisions with creative, strategic, and / or business reasoning, and present creative concepts and discuss ideas with internal clients.

Leading and coordinating multiple creative projects at a time, you’ll drive their execution, ensuring that clients are satisfied with the quality of the final result.

You will provide leadership and inculcate innovative thinking to the Design team and establish rich and engaging partnerships with BCG consultant teams.

As a Design Lead, you will guide Designers in the team from Associate to Senior level, providing guidance, direction, training, and support throughout their career development.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

You excel at working in partnership with key stakeholders to drive the execution of design projects by leading the Design team.

You’re able to deliver results to drive multi-vertical projects, from brief to final deliverables, while maintaining a deep knowledge of other creative verticals like Video, Digital, Content, and Creative Strategy.

You’re eager to manage the production and process of all assets for case and proposal work together with the Project Manager and Creative Strategist on large-scale projects.

You have the ability to lead, manage, and oversee multiple creative projects at a time, including building ad hoc teams, ensuring that all deadlines are met, providing guidance, and ensuring that clients are satisfied with the quality of the result, while troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the project’s duration and communicating effectively under stressful circumstances.

You have a gift for making conceptual decisions and creating layouts, mock-ups, and prototypes to illustrate designs, experiences, and ideas to team members and stakeholders.

You enjoy providing and receiving regular feedback and ensuring effective communication and high satisfaction levels between the team and consultants, even under stressful circumstances.

You’re able to lead, guide, mentor, and motivate a creative team of Designers (Associate to Senior Designer level), provide innovative thinking to the Design team, and develop and implement trainings.

You’re skilled at solving problems under a consultative approach, ensuring adequate communication with stakeholders while managing potential interruptions and issues encountered during the project execution through effective decision-making.

You’re eager to lead and drive business pitches and present creative concepts, mock-ups, and new and innovative ideas to internal and external clients.

You have structured self-organization and strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills. You are flexible, resilient, and highly committed, with a confident manner and the proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and highly innovative design environment.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

You have a bachelor's degree in design, graphic design, fine arts, or a related field, or equivalent job qualifications.

You have at least six years of experience in a professional services environment, design start-up, or design agency.

You have proven, excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) as well as MS Office (interactive PowerPoint);

experience with Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects, Sketch, and InVision Studio, Verint and ArcMap are is a plus.

You’ve gained strong experience working in a collaborative design environment; work experience in global teams is a plus.

You have excellent knowledge of visual design and visual theory (i.e., composition, color theory, typography, etc.), a sharp eye for layout design, and a strong affinity for the latest design trends and new media (augmented / virtual reality, social media, etc.

along with a mastery of free-hand illustrations and / or digital drawings.

You have robust B2B experience, deep knowledge of business language, and proven client-facing experience, with persuasive and dynamic presentation skills.

You’ve built a strong portfolio.

You have excellent English language skills; other languages may be requested in certain locations.
