Role Summary :

Will work closely with the overall Renewable Energy organization and other parts of GE (Renewables BF, Advanced & Additive Tech Centers (AMTC), Global Research Centers (GRC), etc.

connecting as well with the stakeholders in LMWP. You will also drive major operational & cultural change in the Global LMWP organization to transform our businesses into Brilliant Factories.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Work with AMTC, GRC, GE REN BF, LM Global, Regional and Plants to recommend the best advanced and additive solutions to our supply chain
  • Identify Global roadmap from GE Trilogy masterplan per location and establish governance mechanism to drive execution of advanced and additive initiatives
  • Participate in LEAN initiatives, and engage brilliant factory technologies for process improvements in safety, quality, costs, and cycle
  • Coordinate in GE2GE initiatives and inject Advanced and Additive solutions to enable manufacturing our components in safety, quality, cost and cycle
  • Identify and leverage best Brilliant factory practices by continuously Benchmark inside and outside GE
  • Stay connected with the Industry standards, new technology and disrupted trends
  • Empower Advanced and Additive research at BF showcase factories
  • Develop an open Brilliant Factory culture within LMWP
  • Collaborate with process users to understand waste and opportunities from the Plant Masterplan (GE Trilogy)
  • Develop and share best practices and solutions across factories in order to reduce cost and time of factory implementation projects
  • Interface with GE’s Brilliant Factory Renewable team and Global cross-functional counter-parts to achieve Brilliant Factory program goals and integrate global activities in LM Wind Power
  • Remain current with emerging Advanced and Additive technologies and advocate for their use
  • Provide project status and raise awareness of roadblock issues
  • Identify linkage between advanced and additive initiatives to KPI’s and overall strategy for Ops
  • Manage the Global Brilliant Factory Advance and Additive communication plan
  • Mentor plant leadership on the Brilliant Factory mindset
  • Work with Finance to establish global business cases and manage Global program budget
  • Be a contributing and valued member of the Global Brilliant Factory community
  • Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years professional work experience within Supply Chain manufacturing & Engineering
  • Significant shop floor experience (understand the day-to-day realities of a plant)
  • Experience leading technology development / integration (automatization, robotics, 3D printing, Process improvements)
  • Experience in program / project management
  • Desired Characteristics :

    Technical Expertise :

  • Entrepreneurial and proactive spirit.
  • Manufacturing project / program experience is preferred
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and / or Reporting
  • Business Acumen :

  • Understand our business operating models and pain points
  • Be able to articulate how technology solutions will contribute to productivity, quality and / or service
