This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base. Role Description a. Peoplesoft administration skills should include :

  • Strong Oracle Performance tuning exposure
  • Linux script
  • Expertise with Peoplesoft Update Manager (PUM)
  • Experience with migration tools, analysing and retrofitting PUM images.
  • Should have a good knowledge of the Application Upgrade and tools Upgrade Process.
  • Linux administration concepts (file system management etc etc)
  • Oracle backup and recovery skills (RMAN, exp / imp etc etc)
  • Working knowledge in Enterprise infrastructure skills (SAN / networks etc etc)
  • Peoplesoft auxiliary tool knowledge like DataStage administration (applicable to EPM)
  • Very strongly knowledge in trouble shooting environment and performance related issues.
  • Advice developers on SQL query tuning
  • Sound knowledge on production environments (do’s and don’ts) including change and release management process
  • Expert in Oracle database administration (Oracle 12C)
  • Working knowledge in Finance suite of PS applications including GL and SCM modules like (AP / AM, eProc etc)
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge in using PS version / migration tools like Quest STAT
  • Expert in Unix shell scripting
  • Expert plsql
  • Basic unix / windows admin skills (RHEL)
  • Maintaining Incident ticket / Problem management and active participation in root cause analysis
  • Should be engaged in Application installation and maintenance documentation procedures including 1.Disaster recovery 2.Backup and recovery (strategy and methodology) 3.
  • Application service start-up and shutdown procedures b.As a secondary skill set AWS administration skills should include :

  • Minimum of 2-year hands-on experience with AWS
  • Experience managing / operating systems on AWS
  • Understanding of the AWS tenets architecting for the cloud
  • Hands-on experience with the AWS CLI and SDKs / API tools
  • Understanding of network technologies as they relate to AWS
  • Understanding of security concepts with hands-on experience in implementing security controls and compliance requirements c.
  • Non-Peoplesoft administration skills should include :

  • Strong Oracle Performance tuning exposure
  • Linux script
  • Administration of IIS
  • Linux administration concepts (file system management etc etc)
  • Oracle backup and recovery skills (RMAN, exp / imp etc etc)
  • Working knowledge in Enterprise infrastructure skills (SAN / networks etc etc)
  • Very strongly knowledge in trouble shooting environment and performance related issues.
