The Telecom, Media and Entertainment sector is one of the fastest adopters of cloud computing platforms across the world.

AWS has helped a number of companies in this sector achieve global scale, agility and customer intimacy. We are looking for a seasoned leader with business background, technical depth, and communication skills capable of heading a cross-

functional team focused on increasing Telecom, Media and Entertainment sector's adoption of cloud computing in India.

This leader will bring deep and strong C-level relationships with influencers (in business and IT / CIO functions across enterprise levels) to help further establish Amazon as the leader in enterprise cloud computing.

  • Towards this goal, s / he will leading a Pan-India team of BD teams and partner closely with AWS - Solution Architect teams, Partner teams, Marketing, Enterprise support and Proserv teams;
  • We are looking for a self-starter who is prepared to own, define, develop and execute a geographic plan to consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets / quota.

    This leader would report into the Head of the Enterprise Business for India.

  • Technical bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA / Computer Science, and / or Engineering / Math background huge plus.
  • Enterprise Sales Execution

  • Experience in a world class technology companies in business development and solution sales for software, hardware or IT services
  • Rich and diverse back ground of pan-India cross sector enterprise / large / strategic account sales management demonstrating year-on-year new business growth.
  • Strong history meeting and exceeding quota / revenue targets
  • Strong technical and analytical capabilities and understanding of complexities of large IT environments
  • Commercial / Relationship Acumen

  • Extensive CEO level relationships across large telecom, media and entertainment companies and door opening capability
  • Network and relationships among in the external environment among strategic partner organizations and ISVs.
  • Strong executive presence very comfortable with C-level executives with ability to sell business value using ROI and TCO models, rather than competing on features & functions
  • Team / People Orientation

  • Natural sales person with a style that attracts followers
  • Experience building and leading a team focused on development of large strategic accounts
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required in English.
  • A self-starter who is customer focused with high energy level and positive disposition
  • Ability to execute performance through self-motivation and with minimum supervision.
  • Proven ability to initiate action, manage change, make high impact decisions, and complete challenging assignments.
