Job Description
The Storage Engineer will be part of high-performance Global Compute and Collaboration (GCC) Organization. In this role, the Storage Engineer will provide storage operations and solutions support globally in cross-platform environment (Linux, AIX, Windows, EMC Unity, EMC VMAX, EMC PowerVault, Storage NetApp, VMWare, Kubernetes).
Storage Engineer will be adopting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach to drive digital transformation of Storage operations and solutions.
This incumbent will contribute to the establishment and evolution of an automation framework to enhance infrastructure service delivery.
This incumbent must be a hands-on person with strong storage concept and understanding but not limited to SAN, NAS, EMC VMAX, Zoning, CIFS and NFS, creation and exporting of NAS volumes, deduplication, replication, Snapvault relationships, ONTAP Select, security and data protection and disaster recovery.
Always keen in learning new storage technologies other than in depth technical knowledge in EMC and NetApp Storage administrations skills.
