The core team believes that E-Commerce is going to be next big wave of growth in India as E-Commerce is only $450mm of the $450bn retail market in India vs.

US where E-Commerce is $200bn of the $3,000bn retail industry and in China, where E-Commerce is $70bn of the $1,000bn retail industry.

More importantly, the company sees huge opportunity in creating online shopping experience for Indian consumers, at par with the online shoppers in US and Western Europe.

The company wants to offer second to none online shopping experience to the

consumers in India by brining world-class, experience, learning and best practices for merchandizing, payments, fulfillments, fun & trusted shopping environment, and customer services.

An ideal candidate will possess following :

  • 2+ years of experience supporting MySQL (version higher than 5.1) on Linux.
  • Ability to work with others groups to design and implement distributed MySQL architecture that will support performance and scalability needs.
  • Actively administered several production MySQL servers in a high-traffic and distributed OLTP environment, with a mix of masters and slaves replication.
  • Strong knowledge and experiences in setting up and administering MySQL replication.
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL backup, recovery and upgrade procedures.
  • Help identify slow queries and suggesting alternatives.
  • Basic knowledge of MySQL performance tuning at the MySQL server configuration level as well as SQL tuning.
  • Have written moderately complex Linux / Unix shell scripts utilizing bult-in shell variables, regular expressions, conditional expressions, functions
  • Working knowledge of Linux / Unix tools.
  • Engineering Graduate or Equivalent Qualification.
  • Experience setting up and managing No-SQL databases like MongoDB
  • Experience with MySQL monitoring tools.
