The position will support the Client Regulatory Services (CRS) team within Bangalore. Responsibilities will include :

  • Responsible for supporting the CRS controls agenda, including identifying and monitoring significant risks and ensuring compliance with operational policies, control procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Work with management to assess the results of Audit / Testing reports and track issues and action plans to completion through the Open Pages framework
  • Develop strong key stakeholder relationships with various levels of management and be a key trusted partner / adviser
  • Escalation risk and regulatory issues impacting the CRS organization
  • Implement process reviews and pre-emptive testing to ensure risks are mitigated with sustainable controls
  • Identify control weaknesses through Risk and Controls Self Assessments (RCSA) and provide recommendations on preventative controls to be implemented
  • Help remediation all CRS issues and corrective actions and identify common themes, trends, or root causes
  • Development of a strong partnership with Ops Risk, enhance monthly CRS reporting materials
  • Maintain an inventory of Run-the-Bank (RTB) projects within CRS to track the benefits, costs, implementation, and identify additional controls required
  • Drive continuous improvement agenda through process and procedure improvements and training & communication opportunities discovered from the quality review process
  • Maintain an inventory of all process and data quality controls within CRS
  • Continuously identify and address gaps in training program through audit findings, compliance testing, incidents, etc.
  • Establish global consistency throughout training program
  • Drive standardization of content and format across CRS Policy and Procedures
  • Maintain an inventory of quality processes and perform analysis of results quality controls performance
  • Focus on quality improvement initiatives that strive to create a quality-conscious culture, decrease regulatory risk and error trends, and increase stakeholder satisfaction
  • SKILLS Required :

  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
  • Strong knowledge in producing metrics and presentations
  • Strong attention to detail and research / investigative skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet the business deadlines with accuracy
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across CRS
  • Handle trouble shooting to mitigate risks associated with the business that we manage
  • Ability to interact effectively with global colleagues (Hong Kong, Budapest, London, Tokyo and New York)
  • Multi-tasking to handle various business demands
  • Strong written and verbal English skills with clear and effective communication
  • Ability to manage pressure and stressful business demands, including change and ambiguity
  • Qualifications

    Experience required :

  • Minimum 6 years of work experience
  • Specific experience Risk & Controls
  • Regulatory knowledge and capital markets knowledge preferred
  • Educational requirements :

    Minimum Bachelor?s Degree
