ROLE TITLE : Manager QA & Process Development (M2)


Head of the department


Responsible for Quality assurance and Process development


DIMENSIONS : Position holder

External partners


  • Inspection of spares and machine components
  • To be through with all the precision measuring instruments
  • Handle the vendors and guide them in manufacturing activity
  • Knowledge in CMM inspection and operation
  • Knowledge in fabrication & machining operations
  • Should have background knowledge in design and execution of projects
  • Should be able to understand engineering drawing and Inspection Quality assurance plan
  • Should be familiar with 7QC tools.
  • Preparation of Inspection test plans & Check sheets
  • Preparation of departmental process standards and documentation
  • To handle different management audits (internal & external) e.g. Deming,IMS-9001,14001 & 18001
  • Supervise and train inspection executives for day to day inspection activates
  • To be well-versed in New vendor development, vendor quality tracking and assessment
  • To handle development projects end to end
  • Should have detail understanding of NDT methods e.g. UT,DPT,RT & MPT
  • Should have detail understanding of engineering materials and metrology

  • Proficiency in respective engineering streams, designs & systems (Capable)
  • Technical knowhow & ability on designing new systems in the machines)

  • Execution Skill (Advanced)
  • ability to deliver on time the desired results within the specified parameters)

  • Business Focus (Capable)
  • Knowhow on organization mission ,Code of conduct, product SKUs, accountabilities w.r.t market scenario & competition & ability to apply in one's role)

  • Proficiency in Plant systems & processes (Foundational)
  • ability to understand & implement 5S, safety practices, production best practices, QBM, BPR and other contemporary systems & process.)

  • Cultural orientation to engage with customers, proactively assess their needs and continuously create value for them)
