Globex Is Hiring For Desktop L1 Support Engineer

Below is the JD

  • Working knowledge of Windows 10 OS installation
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 features
  • Troubleshooting knowledge of Windows 10
  • Knowledge of Data backup and restore methods
  • Setup desktop computers and peripherals
  • Assign IP address and check network connections
  • Install and test desktop software applications and internet browsers
  • Test computers to ensure proper functioning
  • Diagnosis skills of technical issues
  • Experience with Ticketing System
  • Able to work independently
  • Take ownership and close pending issues
  • Interpersonal skills : such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and user handling skills
  • Asset tag all new PC assets
  • Contact end user to schedule delivery and installation
  • Client installations including desktop and software packages
  • Send daily reports to team leads
  • Additional Information :

  • Location Mostly Bangalore. May require to travel to other locations in India
  • Travel required - Yes
  • Any specific ticketing tool Nothing specific. But should have experience working on ticketing tool
  • Do they need to work in shifts Yes
