Amazon is growing its external payments operations aggressively in India. In this context, the Amazon Payments India Sales team is looking for Sales Assistant Amazon Pay who will help potential offline merchants understand the opportunity with Amazon payments to grow their business.

You should be an effective communicator, quick to learn new tools and systems, and flexible in the face of changes. Our environment is fast-

paced and requires someone who is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.

As a Sales Assistant with Amazon Pay India Pvt. Ltd., you will be focused to acquire offline merchants in India to enable Amazon Pay at their stores.

Ideal candidate should have previous sales / post sales experience in managing B2B business accounts or partnerships, which will form the core of your merchant acquiring & engagement.

The candidate should be able to help potential merchants understand the opportunity with Amazon payments to grow their business.

To be successful in this role you should have superior communication, presentation, training and organizational skills. Operating in a fast-

moving and sometimes ambiguous environment you will work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for achieving business objectives.

This role provides opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever changing business climate.

  • Deep understanding of and passion for e-commerce required.
  • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction required.
  • Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business by the numbers. Must be metrics-driven.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
  • Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA is preferred
  • Degree (BSc, BCA, MCA) in a technical and in a business discipline
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail or with payment systems
  • Work experience in an account management position or similar
  • Advanced computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in data analysis, either professional experience or through your education
  • Location : This position is based out of Bangalore and may require some travel within India
