Role Summary :

Technical leader proficient in leading team of developers. IT expert responsible for the overall design, documentation, maintenance and integration of the available technology environment / frameworks within GE Functions on Agile SDLC methodologies with various teams.

Continuously identify - implement performance and improvement opportunities for the systems. Create technical designs and provide architectural decision on roadmap for product, current functionality.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Experience with Java 8 Spring Boot framework and Angular as frontend.
  • Experience with Agile (Scrum) and test-driven development, continuous integration (Jenkins / Hudson) and version control (SVN, GIT, etc.).
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure platform API’s Web, AKS other resources utilization and usage.
  • Experience in working in mobile platforms such as IOS, android.
  • Experience in Tomcat & JBoss server.
  • Process oriented in designing and implementing of highly impactful solutions for finance adhering to IT Risk compliance regulations.
  • Responsible technical leader who define, develop and evolve systems on SDLC methodologies and infrastructure.
  • Lead all software development life cycle activities through user acceptance testing and create modules for teams to work upon.
  • Lead, Develop, support, and provide guidance to both GE and 3rd party consultant teams throughout the systems development lifecycle including planning, execution and design architecture using agile methodologies.
  • Ensure quality and compliance requirements are met with all deliverables including system architecture, methods, standards, and documentation.
  • Utilize experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and deliver short-term and long-term business goals.
  • Serve as technical expert on supported applications, including code, interfaces, and data flows.
  • Provide technical and / or project leadership on projects and deliverables, eliminating duplication and leveraging technology reuse.
  • Lead impact assessment and decision related to technology choices, design / architectural considerations and implementation strategy.
  • Subject matter expert in processes and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise in various situations.
  • Expert in navigating through ambiguity and prioritizing conflicting asks.
  • Communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions.
  • Builds strong customer relationships; creates processes with customer viewpoint; partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives.
  • Strong team player collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources.
  • Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or master’s degree with 5 years of technical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using Java and frameworks such as Spring 2 or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using HTML, CSS, Java Script, JQuery & frameworks such as Angular JS, AJAX & Angular material or equivalent.
  • Experience in building RESTful web services.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience MSSQL, Oracle 11 or 12 cc or equivalent
  • Excellent Knowledge of object-oriented design and development concepts and practice.
  • Desired Characteristics :

  • Cloud centric development understanding Microsoft Azure a big plus.
  • Energetic, technical innovator who will bring their expertise along with a keen drive to learn the new technologies that drive today's platforms.
  • Out of the box thinker who would leverage their expertise to solve complex technical problems.
  • Keen focus toward consistency and attention to detail primarily related toward coding standards, ability to hit tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strong desire for exploring, evaluating and understanding new technologies.
  • Excellent judgment, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive; requires minimal direction to accomplish goals.
