Roles & Responsibilities :
The MIL Testing Engineer will be responsible for :
Analysis / understanding of developed model and update, debug Simulink / Stateflow models according to functional, technical requirements
Responsible for Test Specifications, Code Coverage, Model Quality, control model validation to ensure that model is as per requirements / expectations
Write test cases to ensure 100% MCDC coverage test cases to execeute the complete logic in the model for MIL testing.
Implement automated testing tools to validate models through simulation and model checking
Identify the deadlogic and optimize the model / software.
Create MIL models integrating Plant and the control models & validate the control software
Involve in requirement analysis, documentation, testing and verification for individual software applications for different end to end functions.
Discuss with customer about the challenges and provide solutions.
Generate test vectors, automate tests and review the test results
Required Skills (Technical Competency) :
Minimum of 6 years of experience in automotive systems.
At least 4+ years of experience in model-based development and Testing using MATLAB / Simulink / Stateflow etc tools.
Model Development, Testing and debugging experience is a must
Working knowledge to generate / create test vectors from developed models with 100% MCDC / code coverage, to execute complete logic in the system
Should have experience in requirements management and be able to link models & write test cases from the requirements
Experience in MIL / SIL / PIL Testing etc
Experience of analyzing test results and create the testing reports
Desired Skills :
Experience in MATLAB verification and validation toolbox like Simulink Design Verifier, Simulink Test and Simulink Coverage, Reactis tool is added advantage.
