The Compensation & Benefits Senior Manager for Middle East, Africa and India (MEA&I) is responsible for managing the compensation and benefits programs for the region and consulting with regional leaders and HR on their compensation and benefits needs.

Manages annual benefits renewals, year-end compensation processes and off cycle requests. Provides regular counsel and recommendations to regional management and HR on their compensation and benefits needs.

Educates HR, management and employees on our Total Rewards philosophy and offerings and provides feedback and recommendations to Corporate on regional needs.

Analyzes competitive data for target labor markets and recommends changes to compensation and benefits offerings that appropriately balance business needs and local market practice with our global total rewards strategy

Responsibilities :

  • Be a proactive member of the Global Total Rewards team representing the needs of the Middle East, Africa and India region (MEA&I).
  • Design and implement compensation and benefits programs and policies for MEA&I, ensuring regional alignment with global total rewards philosophy.
  • Advise and consult with regional management, HR business partners and talent acquisition teams on the company’s compensation and benefits philosophy, practices and programs.
  • Manage annual compensation planning process for the MEA&I region for base pay, bonus and equity recommendations. Provide input on regional budgets, guidelines and tools.
  • Prepare communication materials, develop and deliver education for HR and management, and counsel management on recommendations.

  • Manage annual benefit renewals and recommend enhancements aligned with business needs, competitive market practice and global total rewards philosophy.
  • Conduct competitive pay assessments, evaluate jobs, and partner with the business on their compensation needs.
  • Conduct market assessments to evaluate competitiveness of target incentives, pay mix and total target cash. Present business case for any recommended changes.
  • Ensure effective communication, trainings and knowledge exchange of the company’s compensation and benefits programs and practices to the HR community, management, employees & candidates in MEA&I.
  • Provide regional compensation and benefits support for cross-functional HR projects, such as M&A activity and HR systems implementations.
  • Develop and update regional salary ranges, job codes, grades, bonus targets, and equity ranges; partner with HR Operations to ensure accuracy and integrity of compensation data in HRIS and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Liaise with local benefits broker(s) and vendor(s) to enhance the administration model; clarify roles and confirm processes.
  • Actively support HR team members and cross-functional partners and continuously improve processes, policies, and service levels.
  • Ensure offerings and policies are locally compliant.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and provide other project and program support as requested.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 8+ years related experience in Middle East, Africa and India compensation and benefits;
  • experience in an international environment in a medical device or high-tech company highly desired.

  • Fluency in English, both in written and verbal communication.
  • Strong knowledge of local compensation and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Hands on, proactive team member with strong customer service orientation, excellent attention to detail and follow through.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong sense of urgency in driving projects to completion.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills with strong interpersonal and written / verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel plus strong Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation / employment laws.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgment.
  • Occasional international travel required.
